Mary practices in the employee benefits, ESOPs, business tax law and estate planning areas. In addition to working with closely-held businesses directly, Mary utilizes her experience in the employee benefits area by co-counseling with other attorneys and law firms who do not have extensive experience with sophisticated retirement plan designs to develop employee benefit plans to meet the clients goals.
Mary graduated from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1991 and received her B.A. degree in 1988 from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. Mary is a member of the Cleveland Bar Association, ASPPA Benefits Council of Cleveland and the Lawyers Guild. Mary is a contributing editor of the 401(k) Advisor and a speaker to the American Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Ohio Society of CPAs, ASPPA Benefits Council of Cleveland and the Ohio Employee Ownership Center (affiliated with Kent State University).
With two school-age sons, Mary is involved with the schools and youth sports. Mary also teaches pre-school religion and has served on the boards of charitable organizations that respond to children and family issues.
